First, fill out an application and tell us your location preference. Applications are due March 1.
Next, we’ll gather all the applications together and form the teams. We’ll notify you of your status by April 1 and get you started on the fundraising and other preparation.

What Is SummerXchange?
SummerXchange is a 40 day journey in the life of InnerCHANGE. Here are some of the things you’ll do: join a team of interns, live in a poor neighborhood, learn from a mentor, experience InnerCHANGE formation, practice the InnerCHANGE commitments, and rest up on a mid-summer retreat.
But the main purpose of SummerXchange is to allow you to participate in the life of InnerCHANGE. This may mean joining with a active team in their ministry location, working alongside an InnerCHANGE partner ministry, or even helping InnerCHANGE explore a new ministry location.
The specific dates vary from year to year, but the typical SummerXchange term takes place between June and August. The cost varies depending on the location, but is usually between $1500 and $3000. The 40 day period starts and ends in San Francisco with orientation and debrief.
